ARTIST STATEMENT
I have always felt that the essence of the world around me exists beyond the boundaries of the visible, and I searched for elusive answers within its hidden dimension - the place where visions, meanings, and dreams reside. When a camera first fell into my hands, I realised I had found a universal language of communication: a bridge between body and emotion, between reality and illusion. From that moment on, I devoted my life to observing and capturing mysteries. The pursuit of the perfect image allowed me to see the true form of things concealed within visual noise - their structure and beauty. The unpredictable and accidental suddenly became transparent and malleable; reality itself became fluid. Photography became the treasure I had long sought, belonging equally to both worlds.
This mystery reveals itself through living and inanimate subjects, through plastic sketches and portraits. I am not bound to a single form, because reality is multifaceted, and life flickers within every image. My love for working with light is deeply connected to the desire to “illuminate” - to direct attention toward a suddenly emerging image, to alter its perception, to expose its true construction. More often than not, it is light that allows me to cross the barrier imposed by the visible world and find a way to touch the unreal and the ideal.
Through photography, I have mastered the art of revelation - the unveiling of essence - and I believe this is the only thing that can truly be preserved. The intimate and hidden, obscured by fog and oblivion; the fleeting vision of an inner, authentic life. I want to guide the viewer backstage, placing them within a space filled with the otherworldly, with emotional ambiguity, with the fleeting nature of appearance itself. I want to tell them about the mystery that revealed itself to me through the process, and invite them to dream while awake.
